Simple Tree Capitator
Chop down entire trees with an axe in vanilla Minecraft. Requires natural leaves, respects axe durability and Unbreaking, and lets you sneak to disable automatic chopping.
Chop a whole tree
Break a log with an axe to fell connected logs. Natural leaves are required, and the axe still uses durability.
One log starts the chopping
After mining the first log, the connected trunk and branches have dropped as items. Leaves are left to decay naturally.

Sneak to chop normally
Hold sneak while breaking a log to chop normally. Here, only the bottom log was removed and the rest of the tree stayed standing.
Every log uses durability
The iron axe went from 70 to 61 durability after felling this nine-log tree. Each log uses durability, and Unbreaking can reduce the cost.
Cutting down the whole tree at once
With this mod, you can chop down an entire natural tree at once.
