Neutral Monsters
With this datapack Monsters will no longer attack the player unless provoked first, similarly to Wolves and Zombified Piglin. This way Minecraft can be played peacefully without missing out on hunger, essential items and combat. This datapack however does not add any hostile mobs to 'peaceful' gamemode, and must be played on easy, medium or hard, to have an effect.
Currently there are two versions:
- 1.x works just like the original and is rather tame: any 'neutral' mob is friendly but when hurt it turns hostile towards the player.
- 2.0 adds wolf-like herd behavior: when a 'neutral' mob is hurt, every 'neutral' mob close enough to the player turns hostile. Dealing with monsters becomes a little more intimidating this way.

This was originally done by SamDev-7 with their datapack Neutral Hostiles which doesn't work in current Minecraft versions. I decided to share my updated version of their pack, as i couldn't find anything similar for current versions. For further details on how it works and troubleshooting tips, check out SamDev-7's project.
