Emp's Armored Elytra
This datapack solves one of my biggest issues with endgame Minecraft: Managing torso equipment. Armored Elytra allows you to easily merge any vanilla chestplate with an Elytra to combine the functionality of both pieces of equipment into one torso slot
Combinations
Any possible vanilla combination of armor, dye, trim template, and trim materials can be combined with an Elytra
Enchantability
Can be enchanted with the same enchantments as any chestplate. Protection enchantments remain mutally exclusive.
Repairs
Replaces Phantom Membranes with the corresponding armor type. Vanilla Elytra still use Membranes
Getting Started
No templates required
Customization
This datapack does not interfere with your cape. Your cape will persist regardless of which combination of chestplates you use
Examples
Broken Elytra Textures
Breaking an Elytra will also update its texture to fall in line with its vanilla mechanic
