Notable Changes
- Changed enchantment name from "Boost" to "Thrusters" 🤯
- Reduced the max level of Thrusters from 5 to 3
- Generally reduced flight velocity of Thrusters:
- (Old) Boost Magnitude [I->V]: 0.1 -> 0.2 -> 0.4 -> 0.6 -> 1.0
- (New) Thrusters Magnitude [I->III]: 0.15 -> 0.25 -> 0.4
- Thrusters I slower than fd3 rockets
- Thrusters II marginally faster fd3 rockets
- Thrusters III MUCH faster than fd3 rockets (~2.5x)
(looking at probably reducing thrusters III a bit further)
- Adjusted drop rates
- Thrusters Drop Rate: I 10% | II 5% | III 3%
- (Thrusters books are still found in end city chests)
- Removed the "Boost (Evil)" enchantment
- If you happened to be a real "Boost (Evil)" enjoyer, my apologies 😔
- (if you do genuinely want Boost (Evil) for something just shoot me an email lol)
Added config options ⚙️
- Added toggle to revert any "Thrusters" book to a "Boost" book on pickup 😎
- /scoreboard players set .UseLegacyEnchant 1
- defaults to 0 (false)
- Thrusters I -> Boost I
- Thrusters II -> Boost III
- Thrusters III -> Boost IV
- Added toggle allowing the reload message to be disabled
- /scoreboard players set .BroadcastReloadMessage 0
- defaults to 1 (true)
- You can view the current config values at any time with:
- /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar ElytraBoostConfig
- to remove display: /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar
Other Changes 🤓
- Increased the anvil cost of Thrusters from 1 to 4
- Anvil cost is multiplied by enchant level and then halved when using a book, so the maximum possible final application cost of Thrusters III if you were to combine up from 4 Thrusters I books would be nine levels
- Reduced the "weight" value of Thrusters and Boost from 100 to 5
- (this only affects the enchant table which elytra cannot enter in vanilla)
- ((5 is equivalent to the probably of obtaining i.e. Unbreaking or Smite - 100 was an absurd value I just did not know what that meant when I first made this and figured it didnt matter o.o))
- Updated supported pack formats to 94-101 for MC 26.1 Compatibility

- This change has been implemented to allow the boost enchantment to properly function when equipped in the cape/elytra slot of Emi's "Trinkets" mod and its forks (Thx vyg!!)

alpha13 декабря 2025 г.still very much an alpha version - but now a bit more usable!
ADDITIONS
- Added "Boost" Enchanted Books to the end city chest loot table
- ~40% of end city chests will have a Boost Book
- When a chest DOES contain a Boost Book:
- 25% Chance of Boost I
- 37.5% Chance for Boost II
- 35% Chance for Boost III
- 2.5% Chance for Boost V
- these odds will likely be tuned down in a future version: haven't had the chance to test at scale yet but realistically this is probably a little too cluttery
MINOR CHANGES / FIXES
- Changed the pack.png file (sparkly wolf was not particularly relevant)
- Renamed boost_absurd.json to boost_evil.json (consistency)
- Corrected the pack namespace from "auto_elytra" to "elytra_boost"
- Swapped around some currently irrelevant values in boost.json related to the enchanting table
- Increased reload message platonicness (removed the "<3")
