Completionist

Completionist is a datapack where the goal is to collect all items within Minecraft. The catch is that you are confined by a world border. This world border can be expanded for every item you obtain.

Difficulties

There are five difficulties:

1. Easy: World Border expansion has a 3x multiplier
2. Normal: World Border expansion has a 2x multiplier
3. Hard: World Border expansion has a 1x multiplier
4. Challenge: World Border expansion has a 1x multiplier and items are consumed when first obtained.
5. Expert: World Border expansion has a 1x multiplier, items are consumed when first obtained, and there is no rarity multiplier.

Rarity Multiplier

The rate of expansion is determined by the rarity of the item. Common items expand the border by 1 block radially, Uncommon items expand the border by 5 blocks radially, Rare items expand the border by 12 blocks radially and Epic items expand the border by 25 blocks radially. These rarities are determined by Minecraft's default rarities. An exception to the rule is Enchanted Books, expansion from these are determined by a custom determined rarity and enchantment level.

Configuration

This datapack has a pre-load config to change aspects of the game before you start! This config allows you to change aspects of the pack before world creation such as:

1. Difficulty
2. Rarity Multipliers
3. Item Consumption
4. Hotbar Status Titles
5. Structure and Biome Trackers
6. Alternate Game Modes

Alternative Game Modes

Completionist has three alternative game modes to play with! These gamemodes are not exclusive and can be enabled together if you wanted.

Borderless: Play without the border!

Icarus: You have the ability to glide and have infinite rockets.

Arcade Mode: You start the world with a five minute timer earning an extra minute for each new item you obtain (subject to rarity).

Inverted: The world border contracts for every item you obtain until you run out of items to get or you reach the 1x1 end.

Addons

Trimmed: Obtain all trimmed armor pieces (excluding dyed leather)

Unobtainable: Blocks that cannot be obtained in the survival inventory reward when stood atop.

Next Update: Includes items from the next Update / Drop (pending datapack compatibility)

Other

Items you have obtained can be monitored through the Advancements screen (I recommend a mod that increases the size of the advancements screen). Many seeds will be soft-locked at the start
