Advance Your Health!
❤️❤️❤️When a player completes a certain number of vanilla advancements, their maximum health will go up by 1 heart. This continues until the player's health reaches 20 hearts.
After completing your first advancement, be sure to check the new tab in the advancements screen to track how many are needed to unlock the next heart!
Hearts are awarded at the following milestones:
1st Heart - 5 advancements
2nd Heart - 10 advancements
3rd Heart - 15 advancements
4th Heart - 20 advancements
5th Heart - 30 advancements
6th Heart - 40 advancements
7th Heart - 50 advancements
8th Heart - 60 advancements
9th Heart - 75 advancements
10th Heart - 90 advancements
📝 NOTE: The milestone advancements added by this pack do not count towards the total number of completed advancements.
Compatibility with Mods & Other Packs
This pack overwrites every vanilla advancement in order to track how many are completed by the player. Other data packs that modify these existing advancements may be incompatible with this one, unless:
- If the other data pack is published on Smithed or follows Smithed conventions, it can be made compatible by merging the two packs using Weld.
- If the other data pack only adds new advancements, then it should be compatible without any modifications or merging. However, those advancements will not be tracked by Advance Your Health! (only advancements from the base game are counted). This applies to mods that add advancements, as well.
How to Install / Uninstall
Refer to the Minecraft Wiki's directions on how to install data packs.
Removing the data pack shouldn't affect the world in any way. Issues would only arise when loading or reloading the pack in an existing world, in which the advancement tracker may go out of sync with the true number of advancements that players have earned.
If you want to be thorough and remove all traces of the data pack from your world, then run the following command before removal:
/function advance_your_health:uninstall
This will remove any associated scores and objectives from the world's scoreboard. The command will also present an option to reset everyone's max health (this will only affect players who are currently logged into the server, unfortunately).
