Firmament
Soft sunlight, clear water and warm nights. An Iris shader pack for the worlds you already love.
Список изменений
Firmament 0.3
Richer colour, calmer light. Firmament no longer looks as if the brightness were turned all the way up: colours stay saturated, daylight has contrast, and nights, caves, the Nether and the End keep their mood.
- New tone curve: a hue-preserving filmic curve keeps mid-grey where it belongs. Sunlit sand and blossoms keep their colour instead of fading to white; only real highlights such as the sun roll off to white.
- Juicier colour, not neon: vibrance lifts sky, sand, blossoms and grass, while snow stays white and already vivid colours stay natural.
- Eye adaptation: centre-weighted metering, and dark scenes are no longer lifted to daylight brightness. Bloom only comes from truly bright light.
- Sky: a deep blue sky with a blue horizon, warm twilight bands, a sun halo, moon phases, twinkling stars and an optional Milky Way.
- Morning mist: low fog in valleys and over water at sunrise (optional).
- Clouds: white sunlit tops over grey bases.
- Light: torches and lanterns fall off naturally from golden to amber, and lava stays orange.
- Nether and End: relit. The Nether is dark and deep instead of a glowing red wall; the End island has shape instead of a flat white surface.
- Rain falls as grey streaks.
- New settings: Eye adaptation, Contrast, Vibrance, White balance, Vignette, Sharpening, Morning mist and Milky Way, in English and Russian.
The same 29 Minecraft Java versions as 0.22: 1.18.2; 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2 and 1.19.4; 1.20–1.20.6; 1.21–1.21.11; 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. The new gallery was rendered in Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge 21.1.228 / Iris 1.8.12 / Sodium 0.6.13 on the High preset.
Known: after reloading chunks with F3+A, shadows of blocks outside your view appear once you look at them. Iris only builds chunks the camera sees.
Use the Iris and Sodium builds matching your Minecraft version; 26.2 and 26.3
target the OpenGL renderer. Keep the ZIP intact, place it in shaderpacks, and
select Firmament in Iris. Start with High and adjust the preset for your setup.
From 0.3 Firmament is licensed under the MDFL 1.0; 0.10 to 0.22 stay MIT.
