Vanilla 3D Details

Flat blocks, given thickness. The pack contains only models and reuses the game's own textures, so it matches vanilla and works with any texture pack on top.

• Ladders: rails and rungs with real edges
• Rails: all four rail types, including curves and slopes, stand up off the ground
• Chains: iron and copper chains are solid links instead of paper strips
• Lanterns: the carrying ring and hanging links are solid

Rails use more geometry than vanilla, so very large rail networks cost a little performance.

Install

Drop the zip into your resourcepacks folder and switch it on in Options → Resource Packs. No mods needed. Works on Minecraft 1.21.11 and newer (tested on 1.21.11 and 26.3).
