Quiet Portals

Living next to a nether portal means listening to it all day. This pack plays the portal's ambient hum at 15% of its normal volume.

The sounds when you step into a portal and travel through it stay at full volume. The pack only adjusts volume and contains no audio files.

Install

Drop the zip into your resourcepacks folder and switch it on in Options → Resource Packs. No mods needed. Works on Minecraft 1.21.11 and newer (tested on 1.21.11 and 26.3).
