✨ NoteBlock Glow — OptiFine Emissive Edition

Note blocks glow in the dark when powered by redstone. Powered blocks emit a golden light that stays fully bright even in complete darkness.

Requirements

• OptiFine must be installed
• Emissive Textures enabled in Video Settings → Quality

How it works

• Normal state: standard note block texture
• Powered state: switches to a bright texture + emissive overlay (_e.png) that ignores lighting
• Result: the note symbol and border glow visibly in caves, night, or dark rooms

Installation

1. Install OptiFine for your Minecraft version
2. Enable Options → Video Settings → Quality → Emissive Textures: ON
3. Drop this pack into .minecraft/resourcepacks/
4. Activate in the resource pack menu

Limitations

• Requires OptiFine — will not work with Sodium/Iris unless using OptiFine-compatible setups
• Emissive overlay is visual only — does not cast light on nearby blocks
• Static per-blockstate; cannot animate or pulse
