- Increased the maximum pack format to
90. - Deleted the
/assets/minecraft/atlasesdirectory and its contents since they were yielding errors and ended up being unnecessary for their intended purposes anyway. - Forced any mobs whose models changed in
26.1to use their old models when rendering a custom variant added by this pack (with the only exception being the backported baby glow squid, which has instead been configured to use the its new vanilla model and texture). - Renamed and restructured some of the internals of custom vex and zombified piglin models for better consistency and compatibility.
- Fixed an issue where the
wither.jemandwither_skull.jembase models were missing from their respective directories at/assets/minecraft/optifine/cem. - Copied any files not in their own subdirectories from
/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entityto/overlay_18_90/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entityand sorted the copies into theguardian,minecart,silverfish, andsnow_golemsubdirectories. - Copied the contents of
/overlay_55_90/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entity/pigto/overlay_84_90/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entity/pigand replaced both instances oftemperate_pigwithpig_temperatein the files' names. - Moved the
pigdirectory from/overlay_15_54/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entityback to its original location at/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entitysince this doesn't actually seem to cause issues and overlays can't apply below pack format18anyway. - Created
wither_armor7.pngat/assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entity/witherfor consistency with the folder's other texture sets. - Converted some previously-missed unnecessary capturing groups in the regex of several random entity
.propertiesfiles into non-capturing groups. - Made all
diamond_axe_pickaxe_teleport_trailandiron_pickaxe_teleport_trailCIT modules no longer apply if the last line of their lore isnetherorthe_end, as they would never lead to either of these dimensions in practice. - Made the enum constants for colours interchangeable with their respective hex codes in the regex expressions of all applicable CIT modules.
- Renamed all instances of the deprecated
itemdirectory tomodulesat/assets/minecraft/variant-citin all overlay directories. - Moved
golden_trophy.json,nether_trophy.json, andwooden_pigchinko_sceptre.jsonfrom/overlay_42_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesto/overlay_46_90/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesand removed their equivalent entries from thegold_ingot.json,nether_star.json, andwooden_hoe.jsonitem states at/overlay_55_90/assets/minecraft/itemsto allow regex usage, thereby ensuring that their custom textures will apply for their full range of potential item names. This will have the side effect of making these CIT modules no longer work without mods, but this seems to be a worthwhile tradeoff. - Explicitly defined item states in
/overlay_46_54/assets/minecraft/itemsand/overlay_46_90/assets/minecraft/itemsfor all applicable models that didn't already have one in order to improve compatibility and consistency. - Deleted
jar_potion.jsonat/overlay_46_90/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modules/in addition to all the contents of/overlay_46_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulessince theitemsFromModelskey they set tofalseis now obsolete. These were originally intended to enforce the usage of predefined item states, but this is now default behaviour so long as the respective files exist. - Moved the contents of
/overlay_42_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesto/overlay_46_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesand the contents of/overlay_42_90/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/item/to/overlay_46_90/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulessince newer versions of Variants-CIT (which contain features essential to this pack) were never actually ported to Minecraft versions1.21.2and1.21.3. In practice, this means usage of this pack is currently unsupported on these Minecraft versions when playing on MinecraftOnline or an equivalent1.12.2server, despite earlier claims to the contrary. This was caused by a simple misunderstanding of which Variants-CIT versions added the features required by this pack, and does not represent an actual change in which setups are properly functional. - Removed the
item/prefix from the value of themodelPrefixkeys in all Variants-CIT modules since it was only included for backwards compatibility with older versions of the mod that never functioned with this pack anyway. - Renamed the deprecated
contextkeys tohookin all Variants-CIT modules. - Removed the deprecated
expectkeys from all Variants-CIT modules. - Moved any
nbtPathkeys intonbt_pathtransforms or completely removed them where they were no longer needed in all Variants-CIT modules. - Changed the value of the
propertykey fromitem_componenttodisplay_namein all Variants-CIT modules where the value of thecomponentTypekey had been set to eithercustom_data(to select.display.VV|Protocol1_12_2To1_13|Name) orcustom_name(for renamables). - Changed the value of
componentTypekey fromcustom_datatolorein all Variants-CIT modules in cases where the former had been configured to select a line of.display.VV|Protocol1_13_2To1_14|Lore. - Replaced all
mapandregextransforms in all areas affected by the above two changes with a combination of the newget_snbttransform and a more complexregextransform, which respectively mirror theraw:prefix and the regex expressions used in the OptiFine CIT modules at/assets/minecraft/optifine/cit/primary; these changes will collectively allow the affected Variants-CIT modules to apply in a much wider range of contexts, namely native1.21.4servers and worlds. - Completely rewrote the
baton.json,chromatic_jukebox.json,jar_potion_2.json, andoak_boat_minecart.jsonVariants-CIT modules at/overlay_46_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesto make use of the newpredicatesmodule type. - Deleted the
baton_2.jsonVariants-CIT module at/overlay_46_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulessince its functionality was included in the rewrittenbaton.json. - Renamed
jar_potion_2.jsontojar_potion.jsonat/overlay_46_54/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesand moved the otherjar_potion.jsonat/overlay_46_90/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulesto/overlay_55_90/assets/minecraft/variants-cit/modulessince the latter now includes a subset of the former's functionality.
