This resource pack simplifies block, entity, and other textures to 8x8, while adding several quality-of-life visual tweaks like powder snow warnings, Conspicuous minerals, Higher Contrast, etc.
This resource pack simplifies block, entity, and other textures to 8x8, while adding several quality-of-life visual tweaks:
- Powder snow warnings – clear visual indicators to avoid accidental falls.
- Mineral outline hints – makes ores easier to spot.
- Blue ancient debris – stands out from surrounding netherrack.
- Higher contrast GUI – improved readability.
Why weren't chests modified? Because modifying chests would cause rendering errors when using the Better Block Entity mod.
Item textures are kept at original resolution, because scaling them down to 8x8 makes them too blurry and hard to recognize.
With these changes, you can easily spot minerals – especially ancient debris – without missing them. You also won't accidentally step into powder snow (unless you really mean to).
Since most of the work was done with automated tools, there may be minor imperfections. Feedback is very welcome!
