Altervoch adjusts and improves a ton of vanilla textures. For several years this has been my personal texture pack, so I might as well share it. See the gallery for photos!

Features

A full list of features can be found within the changelog text file found inside the pack. Here is a shortlist:

• Textures that I thought were better before the Texture Update are improved (and may be closer to their before-Texture Update designs)
• Adding animated textures to blocks such as Furnaces and Crying Obsidian
• Random variant blocks such as varied bookshelves and more flower colours
• Some objects are now modelled in 3D such as Sugar Canes, Iron Bars, and Doors
• Other random tweaks to blocks that may be barely noticable
