🛠️ Update: Fixed Banners, Spawn Eggs, Skulls, Shulker Boxes & Conduit Major technical update — the pack was partially built using the old (pre-1.21.4) item model format, which caused several items to render incorrectly or break entirely on current versions. Fully rebuilt the rendering setup for these items to match the new format. 🚩 Banners ✅ Fixed the items/*_banner.json format for all 16 colors — migrated to the current minecraft:special + minecraft:banner system (was using the pre-1.21.4 format, causing banner icons to show up black/purple). 🥚 Spawn Eggs (65 total) 🎨 Removed the legacy tinting system (base + overlay layers), which on current versions rendered eggs completely white — as of 1.21.5, vanilla no longer uses this mechanism at all. 🔄 Eggs are no longer overridden by the pack and now use the current vanilla 1.21.5+ design (a unique painted texture per mob). 💀 Skulls (skeleton_skull, wither_skeleton_skull) 🔧 Item models were stuck on the old builtin/entity format — causing the inventory/hand icon to show the missing texture checkerboard, even though the placed block itself rendered fine. ✅ Migrated to minecraft:special + minecraft:head with a kind field (skeleton / wither_skeleton). 🌊 Conduit 🔧 Same root cause as the skulls — outdated item model format. ✅ Migrated to minecraft:special + minecraft:conduit. 📦 Shulker Box 🐛 light_gray_shulker_box had a typo in its texture reference (shulker_silver instead of shulker_light_gray) — causing the item icon to fail to resolve. ✅ Fixed the texture reference to the correct filename. 🧹 Archive cleanup 🗑️ Removed a leftover junk nested folder (assets/minecraft/assets/minecraft/...) from a broken export — it contained shield pattern textures from the Botania mod that had accidentally been bundled in and never actually loaded (wrong path).
