What is aMenus?

aMenus is a visual, in-game GUI menu creator for Paper servers. Everything — item placement, display names, lore, click actions, requirements, currencies — is configured through in-game GUI editors while you're inside your server.

No documentation needed to get started. No syntax to memorize. No files to manually edit.

Core Features

🖥️ Visual Drag & Drop Editor

Open /amenus edit <menu> and your menu appears in front of you — live and interactive.

• Drag items directly from your inventory into any slot

🖱️ Per-Click-Type Action Chains

Every slot supports four completely independent action lists — one per click type.

💰 Multi-Currency Support

Charge players using Vault, CoinsEngine (any named currency — gems, tokens, crystals), or PlayerPoints. Each purchase action deducts the configured amount and fires a reward command on success. Players who can't afford it get a clear feedback message. No silent failures.

🔒 Visual Requirement Editor

Gate any action behind conditions — configured entirely inside a GUI, no files needed:

👁️ View Requirements & Fallback Items

Set a visibility condition on any slot. Players who don't meet it see a fallback item — or nothing at all. Perfect for showing locked vs. unlocked content without writing any extra logic.

✨ Slot Animations

Configure any slot to cycle through multiple item frames at a configurable tick interval. Animations are synchronized automatically for every player viewing the menu.

One-click geometric patterns — stop clicking 36 slots individually:

Running a custom item plugin? Drag your item directly into any menu slot. aMenus detects the item ID automatically and stores it. Every player who opens the menu sees the correct custom texture — no setup required.

⚡ Dynamic Command Aliases

Set /shop, /warp, /hub — or any command — as a menu opener directly from the editor. Aliases register at runtime. No server restart needed.

🔬 Live Simulation Preview

Test your menu as a player before it goes live. Evaluates PlaceholderAPI placeholders with your real values and checks requirements against your actual permissions and balance. Catch issues before your players do.
