vTarla

This update expands vTarla with events, progression, quests, safer storage, and a much more configurable farm experience.

Highlights

• Added scheduled score multiplier events, including a ready-to-use 2x event setup.
  • Schedule events by day, time, duration, and multiplier.
  • Configurable chat, title/subtitle, sound, and a live countdown boss bar.
  • Active events survive restarts and cannot trigger twice for the same schedule occurrence.
• Added Discord webhook support for event starts/ends, level-ups, quest claims, and lucky rewards.
• Added a custom farm XP and level system with unlimited configurable levels and console-command rewards.
• Added daily, weekly, and monthly quest menus with claimable rewards and paging.
• Added configurable lucky harvest rewards with individual chance, permission, message, and command settings.
• Added a configurable menu CAPTCHA system.
• Added crop regeneration particles and sounds. Both are disabled by default.
• Added menu interaction sounds and redesigned default menus.

• Added new PlaceholderAPI placeholders for levels, XP, quests, events, multipliers, CAPTCHA state, and leaderboards.

Performance and Reliability

• Fixed boss bar configuration/reload behavior. Boss bars and action bars now refresh immediately after a harvest or balance change.
• Reworked crop regeneration into a budgeted queue. Crops do not regenerate when no nearby player is in the farm world, and unloaded chunks are never force-loaded.
• Added optional protection against trampling farmland beneath tracked crops.
• Replaced the old punishment-based anti-cheat with a configurable rolling break limit.
• Reworked SQLite saving to use a serialized write queue and added automatic database migration for new progression data.
• Player actions wait for player data to load, preventing early-join data races.

Configuration Migration

vTarla now separates settings into dedicated files:

• messages.yml, display.yml, economy.yml, events.yml, levels.yml
• quests.yml, rewards.yml, effects.yml, captcha.yml, webhook.yml

Existing 1.0.0 installations are migrated automatically on first launch. A config-1.0.0.backup.yml backup is created. The former bossbar section moves to display.yml, and anti-cheat is replaced by break-limit.
