Theosis 0.9 - Arcane Anvil & Anvil Friendly Update

Theosis 0.9 is here! This update focuses on one of the most requested improvements from the community: better compatibility with other plugins that use the vanilla anvil, while also introducing a brand-new Arcane Anvil for servers that want complete independence from the vanilla anvil system.

🔨 Anvil Friendly System

One of the most requested GitHub issues was improving compatibility with plugins that also modify the vanilla anvil.

Until now, Theosis treated the anvil as its own workspace.

Starting with 0.9, the philosophy changes:

Theosis no longer competes for the anvil. Theosis shares the anvil.

This required a complete review of every anvil listener and interaction inside the plugin.

What changed?

• ✅ Major improvements to compatibility with other anvil-based plugins.
• ✅ Theosis now ignores vanilla anvil interactions that don't involve Theosis items.
• ✅ If you're simply repairing, renaming or enchanting vanilla items, Theosis stays completely out of the way.
• ✅ Reduced unnecessary event processing.
• ✅ Cleaner interaction flow with custom enchantment plugins.
• ✅ Better coexistence with servers running multiple RPG or enchantment plugins.

This dramatically reduces the chances of conflicts while preserving the vanilla experience.

⚒️ New Arcane Anvil

Some servers prefer complete separation from the vanilla anvil.

For those servers, Theosis now introduces the Arcane Anvil.

A brand-new workstation dedicated exclusively to Theosis mechanics.

VANILLA Mode

The default behavior.

• Uses the vanilla anvil.
• Fully supports all existing Theosis mechanics.
• Benefits from the new Anvil Friendly compatibility improvements.

ARCANE Mode

Prefer maximum compatibility?

Switch to ARCANE mode.

In this mode:

• Theosis completely stops using the vanilla anvil.
• Vanilla anvil behavior remains untouched.
• All Theosis mechanics move to the new Arcane Anvil.
• Perfect for RPG servers using multiple custom item or enchantment plugins.

Theosis continues expanding its gem system!

This update introduces 10 completely new gems, bringing the total to 25 unique gems.

📚 Arcane Library Improvements

The Arcane Library has also received a quality-of-life improvement.

Previously, enchantment names were always displayed in English.

Now the library automatically displays enchantment names using the player's Minecraft language, making the interface much more intuitive for multilingual servers.
