A lightweight Paper plugin for controlling, freezing, and accelerating the passage of time in every Minecraft world.

About SuperTime

SuperTime gives server administrators full control over the day and night cycle. Freeze the current time, lock a world to day, noon, or night, or make time pass faster with speeds ranging from 1x to 1000x.

Each world can have its own independent time mode and speed. Settings are saved automatically and restored after a server restart.

Commands

The plugin uses /supertime and the shorter /st alias.

When a world is not specified, the player's current world is used.

Console commands must include the world name.

Time Speed

1x is the normal Minecraft time speed.

Speed	Behavior
1x	Normal day/night cycle
10x	Ten times faster
100x	One hundred times faster
1000x	Maximum supported speed

Speed affects normal time progression. Locked worlds remain fixed until they are unlocked.

Lock Modes

Mode	Minecraft Time	Behavior
current	Current time	Freezes the exact time when the command is executed
day	1000	Keeps the world at daytime
noon	6000	Keeps the world at noon
night	13000	Keeps the world at nighttime

Permissions

supertime.admin

The permission is granted to server operators by default.

Configuration

The configuration file is located at:

plugins/SuperTime/config.yml

Example configuration:

The configuration also contains all plugin messages, the chat prefix, default settings, and saved per-world values.

Messages support standard Minecraft color codes such as &a, &b, &c, and &f.

Requirements

• Paper 1.21.11
• Java 21 or newer
• No additional plugins required

Important Notes

SuperTime takes control of the vanilla daylight cycle while it is enabled. When the plugin is disabled, the normal daylight cycle is restored.
