ServerPatch

A plugin updater for PaperMC servers — built for stability, security, and control.

ServerPatch never updates anything without your say. It scans your installed plugins, builds a review-ready update plan, and only applies it when you explicitly confirm.

How It Works

1. /sp check — Scans all plugins and saves an encrypted update plan. Nothing is downloaded or changed.
2. /sp status — Review what's pending: current vs. new versions, changelogs, and compatibility.
3. /sp update — Applies the plan. Backs up your existing JARs first, verifies file integrity, and replaces them safely.

Features

• Hash verification — Every download is checked against its official checksum (Modrinth/Hangar) to catch tampering or corruption.
• Strict compatibility checks — Validates loader type and API version before marking anything as updatable, so you don't load a plugin built for the wrong server.
• Automatic backups — Old JARs are saved before every update, with configurable retention and easy one-command restore.
• Multi-source support — Modrinth, Hangar, and SpigotMC (metadata), with smart fallback between them.
• Ignore list — Keep manually-managed or forked plugins out of update checks entirely.
• Zero idle footprint — No background tasks, no polling. ServerPatch only runs when you ask it to.

All commands require serverpatch.admin (default: op).
