MCPvP Ban Animation

1.1.3 – First release 🎉

The first public release of MCPvP Ban Animation: the MCPvP-style ban animation for your server, working with whatever ban plugin you already use.

✨ Features

• MCPvP ban animation: an enchanted mace falls from the sky and smashes the banned player's replica, sending bones flying, with impact sparks, sound and screen shake for nearby players.
• Player replica: uses the real player model (Mannequin) on newer versions, with the player's skin. Older versions use an armor stand.
• "● Player BANNED ●" name tag above the replica.
• Instant bans: the ban itself is never delayed, held or cancelled. The animation plays afterwards from a snapshot of the player.
• Only bans: normal /kicks don't play the animation.

🔌 Ban plugin support

• LiteBans, AdvancedBan and LibertyBans through their APIs.
• Vanilla /ban, EssentialsX, LightBans and any other ban plugin through command detection, including namespaced commands (e.g. /litebans:ban).
• Add your own ban commands with detection.extra-commands.

🖥️ Platforms

• One jar for Spigot, Paper and Folia, on 1.21 – 26.x.
• Full Folia support with thread-safe animations.
• Requires Java 21.

⚙️ Commands

• /mcpvpban test [player]: preview the animation.
• /mcpvpban reload: reload the config and messages.
• /mcpvpban info: show the version, platform and active hooks.

📊 Other

• A clean config.yml and messages.yml that update themselves in future versions and keep your settings.
• Anonymous usage statistics through bStats (can be turned off in plugins/bStats/config.yml).
