MCEEW 2.8.0 — Velocity Support

MCEEW now officially supports Velocity.

What's new

• Added Velocity 3.4.x–4.x support
• Added MCEEW-Velocity-2.8.0.jar
• Added proxy-wide earthquake notifications
• Added backend server targeting and groups
• Added per-server / per-source notification controls
• Added Velocity permissions, /eew info, /eew test, and /eew reload

• Preserved existing Spigot / Paper / Folia compatibility

Velocity users

Install MCEEW-Velocity-2.8.0.jar on the proxy only.

Do not also install the Bukkit build on backend servers, as this may cause duplicate notifications.

Velocity requires Java 17+.

Existing Bukkit / Paper / Folia users can continue using MCEEW-2.8.0.jar.
