I'm Telling

A Paper plugin that broadcasts staff/admin command usage to the whole server, instead of letting it happen quietly.

Built for Paper 26.2. Requires Java 25.

Intended usage

Server staff and admins have access to powerful commands that regular players never see used, such as /gamemode, /op, /give, /tp, and similar. Normally, that activity is invisible unless someone happens to check logs. This plugin makes it visible, broadcasting a chat message whenever a watched command runs, so players and other staff can see what's happening in real time.

It does the same for anticheat: GrimAC anticheat flags are normally admin-only. With this plugin installed alongside GrimAC, those flags get broadcast to chat too, so cheating alerts aren't hidden from everyone but the admins.

Broadcasting can be scoped to everyone or restricted to players with a permission, and a cooldown batches and deduplicates alerts so a flapping check or a busy admin doesn't flood chat.

Installation

1. Run mvn package (or grab a release jar).
2. Copy target/im-telling-1.0.0.jar into your server's plugins/ folder.
3. Restart the server. plugins/ImTelling/config.yml is generated on first start.

Configuration

See config.yml for the full list of watched commands, message formats, and toggles (audience, cooldown, exemptions). Reload changes with /imtelling reload.
