What's New in v2.2

• Legacy YAML Storage (storage.type: "legacy"):

  • Added support for running the plugin directly with homes.yml without requiring SQLite or MySQL databases.
  • Implemented atomic file saving via temporary .tmp files (ATOMIC_MOVE) to prevent file corruption during server crashes or abrupt shutdowns.
  • Supports AES-256-GCM encryption in YAML mode: coordinates can remain encrypted even inside homes.yml.
  • Automatic migration is automatically bypassed when legacy mode is active, keeping homes.yml untouched.
  • Added legacy source support to the console migration tool: /homes add legacy to MySQL <user:password>.

• Hot-Swap Storage on /home reload:

  • Storage backends (SQLite, MySQL, Legacy YAML) can now be changed in config.yml and swapped on the fly using /home reload without restarting the server.
  • Safely flushes all pending asynchronous save tasks before switching the storage provider.

• Test Suite Updates:

  • Added unit tests for atomic YAML storage and on-the-fly storage switching (16 total tests).
