Hoardi

Smart chest organization for the discerning hoarder.

Hoardi creates intelligent chest networks that automatically sort items by configurable categories. Place shelves next to chests to display their contents at a glance.

Start with a few chests and add more whenever you like. Hoardi keeps the network organised on its own: it bundles related items together, gives a category its own chest once there is enough of it, and re-sorts everything as the storage grows, so you keep a clear overview at any size.

Features

• Auto-sorting network: Connect chests to a root chest and items get sorted automatically
• Shelf displays: Shelves show a preview of chest contents
• Configurable categories: Define your own item hierarchies (wood, ores, tools, etc.)
• Smart splitting: Categories auto-split into sub-categories when chests fill up
• Spatial ordering: Chests fill in order from the root chest, floor by floor
• Safe on public servers: A network belongs to whoever placed its first shelf, others join only when trusted. Claim plugins are respected. Can be switched off for servers among friends

Setting it up

!Place chests, sneak-place a shelf on each, one network per wood type

1. Put down your chests in any layout: single chests, double chests (also side-on, stacked), barrels
2. Sneak and place a shelf against each chest, or on top of it
3. Done: every shelf shows what its chest holds. Shelves of the same wood near each other form one network, a different wood starts a separate one

Commands

• /hoardi setroot - Set the root chest for your network
• /hoardi sort - Trigger a full network reorganization
• /hoardi info - Show network statistics
• /hoardi trust <player> / /hoardi untrust <player> - Let a player use your network (look at one of its chests)
• /hoardi claim - Become owner of a network that has none
• /hoardi reload - Reload configuration

Requirements

• Paper, Purpur or Spigot 1.21.9 or newer, including 26.x (shelf blocks arrived in 1.21.9)
• Java 21 or newer
• Tested on Paper 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3
