Hepburn

A simple, lightweight PaperMC plugin that automatically converts Romanji (Latin alphabet) chat input into Japanese characters and appends it to your message.

Features

• Automatic Conversion: Converts Romanji input and appends the Japanese text to the original message.
  • Example: arigatou -> arigatou (ありがとう)
• Player Toggle: Each player can choose to turn the conversion on or off for their own messages.
• Zero Config: No complicated settings. It works immediately upon installation.
• Plug & Play: Simply drop the jar file into your plugins folder and you're ready to go.

Commands

• /hepburn <true|false> - Switch the Japanese conversion on or off for yourself. (permission: hepburn.command, default: true)

Installation

1. Download the latest .jar file.
2. Place the file into your server's plugins directory.
3. Restart your server.

Requirements

• A server running PaperMC or their forks.
• Java 21 or higher (depending on your Paper version).
