A major update introducing psychological horror elements, real-time depth scaling, and auditory paranoia.

What's New

• Auditory Paranoia: Deep underground, you will now hear footsteps following you, walls breaking, candle extinguishing, and chest creaks in the void.
• Abyss Heartbeats: A pulsing heartbeat soundscape in the Abyss that scales in frequency the deeper you go and the longer you stay.
• Abandoned Signs: Eerie messages randomly appear in the Abyss. They do not fade with time and will only vanish once you look at them and turn your head completely away.
• Stats Tracker: Keep track of your descent with time spent underground, whispers heard, and seconds spent in the Abyss via /fog status.
• Dynamic Placeholders: Whispers in config.yml now support %player% and %item% placeholders, adapting dynamically to the item currently held in your hand.
• Visual Improvements: Fully aligned chat layouts with a custom color gradient for the UI menu headers and footers.

• Game Sounds Enabled: Core audio cues, footsteps, and heartbeat pacing rely heavily on sounds.
• No FullBright / Gamma Hacks: Play with default brightness. FullBright cheats bypass the darkness mechanics.
