FloorIsLava Minecraft Plugin

A simple survival game where lava gradually rises over time in Minecraft.

Features

• Singleplayer and Multiplayer Support
• Bossbar Countdown: A bossbar is generated for the grace period and the time it takes for lava to rise.
• Match Saving: If the server stops or the plugin gets disabled, the match will be saved and can be loaded using /fl load.
• Customizable Settings: Adjust the speed, block type, and rise amount at which the lava rises to suit your difficulty.

Installation

1. Download the Plugin

2. Add to your Server:

   • Make sure your server runs SpigotMC / Paper / Purpur 1.21+
   • Place the downloaded .jar file into your server’s plugins directory

Configuration

After installing the plugin and restarting your server, you can configure it to fit your needs:

1. Open the Configuration File:

   • Navigate to plugins/FloorIsLava/config.yml.

2. Adjust Settings:

   risingBlock: "LAVA" # WATER is also supported
   forceTeleport: true # Force all players to teleport to the start position
   forceClear: true # Clear all players' inventories before starting
   clearActionBar: false # Remove the action bar that shows the lava's current y-level
   startingHeight: -64
   heightIncrease: 1 # Height of each rise
   heightDelay: 5 # Seconds between each rise
   gracePeriod: 600 # Grace period in seconds (Setting it to 0 skips it)
   borderSize: 200
   finalBorderSize: 50 # Border will slowly reduce to this diameter until height limit (Setting it to 0 stops this)
   startPosition: # The center of the border
     x: 0
     z: 0
   

3. When you save and update the config.yml, you MUST restart your server to apply changes!

Commands

• /fl start - Starts a new match.
• /fl load - Loads an existing match.
• /fl end - Ends the current match.

Permissions

• floorislava.commands - Gives access to all the plugin's commands.
