ExpandedChests

ExpandedChests 1.0.0 is the first public release.

What's included:

• Four craftable expanded chest tiers: 3x, 5x, 10x, and 100x double-chest capacity.
• Vanilla shulker-box anchor blocks with server-side paged storage.
• Compact visible labels above placed expanded chests: name and used/total slots.
• Built-in full-storage sorting controls inside the expanded chest GUI.
• /ec items and /ec creative admin menus for vanilla-compatible item access.
• /ec status, /ec info, /ec name, /ec give, and /ec reload.
• Protection for non-empty expanded chests, explosions, pistons, and hopper item movement.
• Fast block/chunk indexes for nearby storage lookup.
• Optional StorageWorkbench integration for crafting from nearby expanded chest contents.
• Clear separation from OpenChestSorter: ordinary chests are sorted by OpenChestSorter, expanded chests use their own controls.

Compatibility:

• Works standalone. StorageWorkbench and OpenChestSorter are optional companion plugins, not required dependencies.
• Built against the Paper 1.21 API for broad Minecraft Java 1.21.x compatibility.
• Source compatibility checked against Paper 26.1.2 API.

Notes:

• Minecraft/Paper 1.21.x servers run on Java 21.
• Minecraft/Paper 26.1.x servers require Java 25 or newer.
• No client mod or resource pack required.
• Designed around vanilla blocks, vanilla inventory screens, and vanilla particles.
