This is the first public version of DuskChat, built for Paper and Folia

Included

• Permission-based chat formats with legacy colors, hex colors, and supported MiniMessage tags.
• PlaceholderAPI support with built-in LuckPerms rank fallbacks.
• Player mentions with configurable highlighting, sounds, and notifications.
• Player information shown when hovering over names.
• Safe [item], [inv], and [ec] chat previews.
• Private messages, replies, ignores, staff chat, message spy, chat mute, and chat clear.
• Filters for flooding, excessive caps, domains, IP addresses, custom regex, and repeated messages.
• Configurable sounds for private messages and selected commands.

Technical details

• Native Paper and Folia scheduler support.
• Asynchronous SQLite storage that never blocks public chat.
• Automatic config migration, backups, and validation.
• Read-only inventory snapshots that close during reload or shutdown.
• Java 17 bytecode with a Paper 1.20.3 API baseline.
