DiscordID Version 2.0-a.1 is the first pre-realease of DiscordID's complete overhaul.

Version 2.0 was rewritten from scratch to be more secure, feature rich and, most importantly, incredibly performant :rocket:

🚀 Faster than ever

Thanks to improved asynchronous processing, DiscordID now processes login events up to 3,000x faster than before, reducing wait times by over 99%.

✨ Revamped linking experience

DiscordID 2.0 no longer requires players to reconnect after linking. Players can connect to the server, enter the /link command on Discord and be allowed onto the server without having to re-join the server.

🔒 Enhanced Security

Together with the perfomance increase, we also added "Sessions" to secure cracked servers. When enabled, DiscordID requires all players to verify login attempts from unknown IP-Addresses through Discord. This effectively prevents impersonation on cracked servers.

Session enforcement is completely optional and disabled by default.

📂 Automatic migration

DiscordID automatically migrates your links and config to the new format and creates a backup of your old data so you can roll back to a previous version easily and without data loss.
