Bring the legendary Death Note into your Minecraft server with this immersive Paper plugin inspired by the psychological cat-and-mouse thriller. A single black Death Note can exist at a time. When /deathnote or /dn random is executed, the notebook is randomly given to an online player, turning them into its current owner. Features

• One Death Note only — prevents duplicate books from being created.



• Random distribution — use /deathnote or /dn random to randomly select an online player.



• Player ownership — ownership transfers when another player picks up the notebook.



• Droppable and tradeable — players can drop or hand the Death Note to others.



• Death Note rules in the lore — the book includes its mechanics and restrictions directly in its tooltip.



• Target recognition requirement — the owner must have previously interacted with the target player.



• Face and visibility requirement — the target must be visible and in front of the writer.



• Cause of death support — specify a cause and have it announced when the Death Note activates.



• Heart-attack default — targets die after the configured timer when no cause is written.



• Destruction protection — the book cannot be destroyed by fire, damage, despawning, or the void.



• Void recovery — if thrown into the void, the Death Note returns to its owner’s inventory.



• Custom black-book appearance — supports custom resource packs through configurable Custom Model Data.



• Anime-inspired atmosphere — includes original flavor text and dramatic effects without copying dialogue from the series.


 Commands
• /deathnote — randomly gives the Death Note to an online player.



• /dn random — alias for the random distribution command.



• /deathnote rules — displays the Death Note rules.
