🐾 A community-made plugin port inspired by the original Better Pets datapack for Minecraft servers.

15 New Pets (now 72 total)
Combat — Scorpion (poison + slow on hit), Mantis (longer reach + bonus strike), Panther (sneak backstab), Lion (attack damage + weakening roar), Raccoon (pickpocket bonus drops).
Defense — Mimic (chance to ward a hit), Guardian Angel (Absorption/Regen + a shield when death is near), Yeti (freezes attackers).
Movement — Sugar Glider (glide, steer forward while sneaking), Cave Spider (hold sneak against a wall to climb + no fall damage), Griffin (rideable flyer from level 50).
Utility — Snow Golem (snowball barrage + no freezing), Arcane Fox (bonus XP from mobs & ores), Mechanist (reveals spawners through walls + an action-bar compass to the nearest structure, including datapack structures), Kraken (drags nearby foes to you and crushes them in water).
New mechanist: config block. Compiles clean on Paper 26.2; 52/52 tests pass. Drop BetterPets-1.14.0.jar into your plugins/ folder.
