Better Pets v1.9.0 — now targets Minecraft / Paper 26.2.

📦 Download BetterPets-1.9.0-mc26.2.jar below into your server's plugins/ folder. Requires Paper 26.2, Java 21.

⬆️ Paper 26.2

• api-version → 26.2, built against paper-api 26.2.build.62-beta (Build #62).
• Paper 26.2 ships Adventure 5.2.0; the build now pulls the matching Adventure 5.x jars and orders the classpath so they take precedence over older server libraries.
• build.ps1 downloads the Paper API and Adventure itself when missing; output jar renamed to better-pets-26.2-plugin.jar.
• No gameplay changes — the entire codebase compiled against 26.2 without a single source change.

⚠️ Which version do I need?

Paper 26.2 (experimental/beta)	v1.9.0 (this release)
Paper 26.1.2 (stable)	v1.8.1

Because api-version is now 26.2, this build will not load on a 26.1.2 server.

Verified: compiles against Paper 26.2 + Adventure 5.2.0; 42/42 logic tests pass.
