BellClaims Reforged 0.8.6
Important for server owners
- Ordinary players can now claim without a permissions plugin. None of the plugin's permissions were declared, and Minecraft treats an undeclared permission as operator-only, so on servers without LuckPerms only operators could claim. Player features now default to everyone; moderation (
/claimoverride,/bellclaimadmin) stays with operators. - Two new group permissions make bulk granting easy:
bellclaims.user(everything a player needs) andbellclaims.admin(moderation, includesbellclaims.user).
Changed
- Text is now typed in the chat instead of an anvil. Naming a claim, renaming it, editing its description, searching for a player and naming a transferred claim all work through the chat. The anvil menu did not pass the typed text to the plugin on some servers (Purpur 26.3 included), so the confirm button seemed to do nothing. Type
cancelto back out. A prompt also expires after 60 seconds, and running a command or disconnecting cancels it. - Your answer is hidden from other players and never relayed to Discord bridges.
- A chat confirmation now appears after a claim is created, renamed, has its description changed, or is received through a transfer.
- Breaking your own claim bell now gives you back your claim bell instead of a plain village bell, so placing it again goes straight to claim creation.
Fixed
/claimrestorebrought the claim back without its bell, leaving protected land with nothing to right click. The bell is now put back where it stood, attached to the floor, ceiling or a wall depending on what is around it.- Restoring now takes one bell from your inventory, since breaking the claim gave it back. This closes a loop where breaking and restoring the same claim produced a free bell every time. A refused restore never costs a bell.
- Claims archived for inactivity keep their bell in the world, so restoring them no longer takes a bell.
- Restoring is refused with a clear message if something now occupies the bell's spot or if you have no bell.
- An operator breaking another player's claim with an override no longer receives a free claim bell.
/claimrestoreblocked restoring inactive claims whenever restoring destroyed claims was disabled. Returning players can recover their claims again.- The time left shown for inactivity archives used the wrong retention period.
Compatibility
Paper and Purpur 26.1 to 26.3. Requires Java 25.
