Aethelguard is a modern authentication and account-security plugin built for Paper/Purpur Minecraft servers. It focuses on clean console logs, strong auth flow control, and deep configuration without making the setup feel painful.

Aethelguard is not just another /login plugin. When a player joins, they are kept inside a controlled authentication flow until everything is complete: captcha, password or PIN login, 2FA, security questions and recovery tools all work together. During that process, the player’s inventory is protected, chat access is blocked, noisy vanilla connection logs can be suppressed, and admins get cleaner, more useful console output. ✨

🆕 What’s New in v0.4-sentinel?

v0.4-sentinel is the final free release line. It adds the PIN system, PIN GUI, diagnostics, IP/account lookup tools, required registration security questions, stronger timeout handling and a much cleaner auth flow.

It also fixes the local YAML password storage path, polishes 2FA QR links, allows captcha/security-question answers through chat, improves inventory protection during auth, and cleans up many edge-case bugs from earlier builds. This is the recommended version for live servers. ✅
