Gameplay:

• Updated ABCO to 2.4
  • More weapons have heavy attacks, some weapons now have parries instead.
  • This will receive more attention and rebalancing in the future.
• Added Step Smoothing
• Removed staves
  • These will be replaced in the future, but this update has been in development for so long I had to take a break from magic
• Changed default better combat config to feel nicer to play with ABCO
• Phantoms now spawn with a redone AI
  • This is likely a controversial change and may be reverted, but for now I have confidence that the redesigned AI will make Phantoms engaging to fight.
• Mob explosions will now drop all blocks destroyed
• Cartographers will now re-roll their maps once they’ve been bought
• Removed Limit Break and Reinforcement Smithing Templates, along with Enchanted Ghast Tears
  • Reinforcement will probably be added back in a new, unique form in the near future, but for now it is disabled.
• Added food groups to Baked Pitcher Pods and Desert Turnips
• Removed biome limitation on silver ore spawns, making it much more common
• Obsidian tool rework
  • Redesigned the Obsidian Knife weapon attributes
  • Obsidian tools now have 1024 durability, much higher than iron but lower than diamond
  • Obsidian tools now have an extra relic slot instead of increased damage
  • Obsidian tools now have 15 enchantability
• Fixed an issue where most Netherite weapons did not get the Smelting attribute
• Added Fortune attribute to Gold tools and weapons

Enchanting:

• New Relics system replaces most forms of stat enchantments
• Added Copper Enchanting Table, for early game enchanting
• Removed Limitite Altar, staves and all other forms of limitite
• Completely overhauled enchanting UI
  • Catalysts have been removed
  • Instead, enchantments are made with recipes in the enchanting table.

Bug Fixes/Other:

• Fixed several typos and updated pause tips
• Added new launcher and window icon
• Ghasts no longer passively cry tears.
  • Because of Amplified Nether, Ghasts actually spawn more frequently than normal so this made Ghast Tears an extremely abundant resource.
• General optimizations, updated many of the included mods.
• Removed Krypton
• Removed Ixeris
• Replaced custom version of Astro! Reforged with the public Modrinth version of Astro! Reforged
• Replaced Lamb Dynamic Lights with Sodium Dynamic Lights
• Replaced gravity-api with a custom fork.
  • Fixed an issue where the Wither would shoot at an arbitrary direction rather than the entity its targeting.
