Where Pokemon meets the dense world of heavy minecraft modding

Pokemon in Minecraft is pretty great, but do you know whats greater? More mods. This is my spin on the Cobblemon modding scene, fusing two of my most nostalgic games. Looking through the available Cobblemon-based modpacks, not many go too hard with the extra modding, keeping it more faithful to a traditional Pokemon x Minecraft experience - which is fair enough! I wanted to go beyond this though, Minecraft has such a vast array of high-quality mods which makes me question why we dont put these mods all together more often!

So I introduce Uncle Major's Mons!

Originally I made this modpack for Curseforge, seeing as it made the most sense having lots of mods on there, but changed to Modrinth for the greater number of Cobblemon addons. Also, if you have seen that version, you would also know this modpack was primarily made for my mates & I. Like most other normal people we get that 2-week Minecraft phase, so we started using modpacks to add to the fun. However, we found ourselves adding more mods to these packs, so I thought why not cut the middleman and make my own! And better yet, why not make it available publicly! I believe there is something in here for everyone, whether that be Pokemon, tech, magic, adventure, dimensions - you name it and its probably here!

To be a little more specific, THIS ADDS:

• Cobblemon, the star of the show & updated to the latest version
• Cobblemon addons, because who doesn't like more Pokemon things? & Yes this includes the gimmicks like Mega, Tera etc
• Tameable mobs! Pokemon not quite your thing? Well go tame something else
• Bosses! Oh, we got bosses.
• Optimisation! Because I'd be crazy not to optimise this!
• Collectibles! Such as trading cards and more
• New ores! A miners dream
• New weapons! and PvP tools, or PvE - whatever interests you.
• Utilities! Like EXP storage & furniture
• Quality of life! It's the little things that matter
• Shaders! They look unreal
• Building blocks! I hope you can make more use of these than I can
• Magic & Tech! Your 1.21.1 favourites like Irons Spells n Spellbooks, Oritech & more!
• Structures! This is what gives you that sense of adventure

I do hope you enjoy this, I generally only include what I deem to be high-quality mods into this for the best experience.

If you find any issues/bugs with this, please let me know in the comments and I will attempt to resolve this within my limited capacity to do so! I do not have a discord, github, or anythin along thse lines.

• Will this be backported? No, this updates alongside Cobblemon and will likely remain on 1.21.1 for a while.
• Will there be other versions? Nah, probably not. Who knows though, maybe!
• Does this support multiplayer? I itend for it to be, yep.
• Is there a wiki? Nope, sorry. I encourage you to learn the mods through their own guides, support the creators too
