Update 3.0.0 has been released!!

The 1.7 update for Cobblemon was MASSIVE!!! So big, in fact, that I’ve had to rebuild the entire modpack around it!

3.0.0 IS NOT COMPATIBLE with old worlds! Sorry.

Cobblemon 1.7 is such a huge update, it completely replaces some addon mods we’ve been relying on for years, and nearly every addon mod we use for it is rendered obsolete and incompatible. So, much like the move to 1.6, it was easier for me to start from scratch instead of trying to figure out what still worked and what didn’t.

This version of the modpack retains the "peaceful apocalypse" vibe from the 2.X.X branch, but without The Lost Cities mod. That mod uses some really impressive technology, and it's definitely possible to make some really cool, really beautiful maps with it, but I can't ever seem to get much good out of it with the included tileset and I don't have the time or skill to make my own tileset to replace it right now. So, this version of the modpack is utilizing a few different structure mods to add ruins instead. Let me know your thoughts on the new structure and worldgen mods. They're rather performance heavy, but I think the worlds look beautiful!

Not really sure how best to sum up the entire update in one small blurb, honestly! It's huge. In addition to worldgen, I've rebalanced progression, updated starterkits, fixed mob spawners, added a food spoilage mechanic, and massively expanded the tool variety using Silent Gear and Silent Gems, as well as Create Alloyed. I've also added CobbleCuisine and ExtraDelight, and future updates will see these mods become better incorporated and more central to your progression. I'm trying to make food a core part of the experience, making it more than just annoying by introducing exciting and powerful effects from eating your favourite foods. I've also added a number of fun new Create addons, and you can now dip your toes into the esoteric and arcane by taking advantage of Occultism. Create remains the main focus of the modpack however, as far as automation is concerned. There is also now a quest system, but it's a pretty heavy WIP. Known Issues:

Sometimes the modpack gets stuck during loading. The only real "fix" for this is to kill the task and try again.

Once it loads, the modpack has been stable and performant in my experience, but if you have any issues, please let me know in the official Discord!
