USE THIS VERSION TO PLAY THE GAME

(Quick swap out of Professor Porkers old version of the mod with the new Cobblemon Explore Legendary Dungeons!)

This is a massive update. While the spirit of the original pack is the same (exploration, working with Pokemon etc.) you could consider this a sequel rather than an update.

Here's what to expect:

Lots of Ranger Tools: One thing you may notice is that there is no mini map enabled. This is by design. If you want the most immersive experience, do not use a mini map. Instead, you'll be using useful pokehunting tools like the pokefinder and pokenav. (Using a world map is fine)

Road generation: The first time you boot up your world, it will take a few minutes to generate a road system. If you've ever played Terraria, you'll know what generating a world for the first time is like. Roads do not connect EVERYTHING but you're guarenteed to run into at least 3 major roads.

Fast Travel: By crafting a Charter Map you can chart out roads and place fast travel points to teleport to with signs. You can also chart along water.

Ships: A new form of transportation has arrived! You can build cogs, brigs etc. to sail across the ocean. These are a useful form of transportation over Pokemon as you can place items inside of ships. Plus, ships are cool!

Terrain: The overworld terrain has had a massive overhaul. Biomes have a new look and land masses now resemble continents and islands rather than one big random world.

Quests: You can open your quest book via the inventory OR pressing the '~' (tilda) key. If you complete every main quest, you'll be able to navigate this new world.

Unique Endgame: The Nether will be better known as "The Earths Core" in future versions and the end will be known as "Ultra Space". Ultra Space spawns more powerful raid dens where you'll encounter rare and legendary Pokemon. You'll need lots of netherite scraps to craft higher tier raid den keys however. The Earth's Core (Nether) has had it's loot table reworked so now you can find netherite scraps in dungeon chests to make up for it!

NO Gyms: Most packs have a trainer and gym system. This pack is different. There are NO roaming trainers. It's you against the world. That doesn't mean you can't battle though. There is a battle tower block you can place to fight trainers from. In the future we will be implementing creative ways of battling trainers and boss Pokemon.

Performance: Even though this is a fairly beefy modpack, a lot of time went into adjusting performance. While more could be done, I do expect most systems can play this pack in some form whether that's turning shaders off or adjusting render distance.

ServerVersion

Make sure you download and unpack the SERVER VERSION and use it server side.

THE SERVER VERSION WILL NOT WORK ON YOUR CLIENT. It has to be used as server files.
