!balls game 2.... pretty scary, eh?

[balls_game_2] is a private modpack made for my friends and I. Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge, 127 mods.

Built on the same KISS philosophy as its predecessor. Until hexcasting comes out for 1.21.1, there are no magic mods this time: the pack is industry, chemistry and simulated physics, and the progression runs from a water wheel to a circuit board thirteen recipe layers deep.

Major content

• Create, with eleven addons. The Factory Must Grow for oil extraction, distillation and diesel. Power Grid for electricity and circuit fabrication. Big Cannons for artillery, Aeronautics for airships, and the two together for armed ones. Cosmonautics for rockets and off-world dimensions. Central Kitchen, Enchantment Industry, Garnished and Dragons Plus fill in the rest.
• Chemica is the chemistry: vats at three tiers, electrolysis, chlor-alkali, the acids, and the Kroll process for titanium.
• Sable gives fully physics-simulated vehicles with real momentum and collision, with Drive-By-Sable for the controls.
• Applied Energistics 2 for digital storage and autocrafting, extended by ExtendedAE, MEGA Cells, ME Requester and the wireless terminals.
• CC: Tweaked for programmable automation, wired into vehicles with CC: Sable, cannons with CC:CBC, Create with the CC:C Bridge, and the power grid with CCPowerGridCompat.
• Eternal Starlight as a second dimension reached by rocket.
• Re:Avaritia for the Infinity endgame that runs through it.
• Exposure adds cameras, film and a darkroom that develops through Create sequenced assembly.
• Starcatcher and Farmer's Delight cover fishing and cooking.
• Epic Terrain generates the world.
• Caxton provides custom fonts and
• Sodium carries performance, alongside Lithium, C2ME and ModernFix.

Progression

A 171 quest book across 13 chapters, generated from the pack's own advancement tree so the two cannot disagree. Every quest says what it needs, what it unlocks, and what it is actually for.

Three mods are missing from this download

FTB Quests, FTB Library and FTB Teams are All Rights Reserved and are not on Modrinth, so they cannot go in a Modrinth manifest. This download therefore has no quest book. Everything else is identical, and nothing else in the pack depends on them. Realistically, you should be able to enjoy the pack without them. They strictly exist for a better user experience.

For the complete pack, take the -full.mrpack from the Forgejo releases, or drop the three jars into mods/ yourself.

Java

Set -XX:+UseZGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch with equal min and max heap. A modpack manifest cannot set JVM arguments, so this one is on you. This pack requires Java 25 or higher.
