The full release for Season 3 of Architecture and Automatum!

This update swaps the pack completely over to modrinth.

While the core mods were essentially kept the same, there were some mods that were removed due to balance or bugginess, others that were swapped out in favor of alternate or better versions, and others that were added because of features we thought would benefit the server.

Jetpack

One of the most notable changes is the Create: Jetpacks mod was swapped out for Create: Stuff and Additions. We felt that these jetpacks were too overpowered (Free and near-instant refueling, as well as high speeds), and that the Stuff and Additions Jetpack was more suited for the pack (More balanced fuel mechanic, as well as speeds better suited for building). We wanted jetpacks to assist with building, not replace elytra for movement.

Stuff and Additions also adds a grappling whisk to assist with movement which makes the change more balanced as well.

Death

This season, we removed /back, as well as limiting the power of corpses. We liked the benfit that they provide in keeping your inventory organized the same way it was when you died, but people never losing their items when dying in the end or in lava made many people careless. There were lessened stakes, and if you did die, you could use /back to get there instantly, and your items would always be guarunteed to be there. This hurt the server economy, and meant that because no one ever lost items, no one ever had to buy armor, tools, elytra, or jetpacks. This season, corpses are able to burn and fall into the void, and have a 5 minute timer, where they can still be retrieved as normal for the benefit of an easier to manage inventory. After those 5 minutes, all of your items will explode out of the corpse like they normally would when you die, and you have an additional 5 minutes to salvage whatever items may be left.

Lootr

Lootr has been removed as it devalued many different resources, and it was especially powerful if groups of people went around raiding structures, where you could easily multiply all of the returns with no effort. To balance this, the end will occasionally be pruned as needed so elytra are still obtainable for new players, but at the same time, incentivizing people to use shops to obtain some rarer materials.
