You Must Have The Rain

  • Can appear after a rain or a thunderstorm.
  • Last for 5 minutes.
  • Have a night time variant during full moons called the moonbows.
• Lunar eclipses:
  • Only appears during a full moon.
  • Tints the sky red as well as light except for block lights.
  • Goes from white to rose to pink to red and the back again overtime as the night passes.
  • Only client side so you can have this on vanilla servers as well.
• Light pillars:
  • Appears in snowy biomes during sunset when it snows.
  • Is a beam of light that keeps shining even if the sun goes down and night returns.
• Auroras:
  • Ribbons of light that appear fixed above the clouds slowly dancing in cold biomes that appears between sunset and sunrise.
  • Appears in snowy biomes or rarely in colder biomes.
  • Comes in blue, green and aqua colours with it gaining a red tint as well as the night progresses.
  • Is not visible during rains or thunderstoms.
• Redone Stars:
  • Stars now have a complete makeover.
  • Stars now come in different sizes as well as colours too.
  • No. of stars that render in the sky has been increased significantly.
  • 60% stars by default are banded together into a galaxy arm that streaches across the horizon and the sky.
• Shooting Stars & Meteor Showers:
  • Occasionally one might see a falling trail from the sky (That is a shooting star !)
  • Have a falling rotation between 30-60 degrees.
  • Occasionally a meteor shower event happens where groups of these shoot starts fsll from a single direction with almost the same angle lasting between 30 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds.
• Water Ripples:
  • A new client side particle effect that appears when rain hits any water surface.
