Minecraft 26.1 (1.26) on Fabric

This line targets Minecraft 26.1 on Fabric with unobfuscated game code and non-remapping Loom (Mojang names; Yarn mappings removed).

Requirements

• Java 25 or newer (runtime and Gradle toolchain).
• Fabric Loader ≥ 0.18.6 (see Fabric develop for current pins).
• Fabric API for 26.1 (e.g. 0.145.1+26.1 or a compatible newer build).

For players

• Red pandas, spawn egg, jungle spawning, sleep and threaten behavior, bamboo breeding, and egg-based trust behave as before, on 26.1.

For modpack authors

• Not compatible with Minecraft 1.21.x or older Fabric/Yarn-based builds of this mod. Treat as a new game version line.

Technical notes

• Build uses Gradle 9.4+, Fabric Loom 1.16, and the Foojay toolchain plugin so JDK 25 can be auto-provisioned when missing locally.
• Client code updated for 26.1 rendering and model APIs (ModelLayerRegistry, LayerDefinition / geom builders, AgeableMobRenderer pattern).
• Creative tab integration uses CreativeModeTabEvents.modifyOutputEvent (Fabric API for 26.1).

Prior development targeted Minecraft 1.21.x with Yarn and remapping Loom; that line is superseded by 1.0.1 on 26.1.
