Visor
Minecraft mod that brings full VR support to the game. Supports addons, customizing your VR experience
Список изменений
This version is focused on improving player experience and compatibility with most important mods
New features
1. GUI
Reshaped the way UI is felt in Visor, it is waay more convenient now.
-
Drag and resize overlays
-
Reworked keyboard logic from "Visor decides where to place it and when to remove" to "Player decides"
-
Added Keyboard language layouts
-
Reworked VR game pause menu
-
Convenient VR play mode switching instead of annoying simple button.
For NonVR players: "Force switched to NonVR" warning when failed to initialize VR instead of a spooky error
2. New Main Menu scene
Completely new and unique main menu scene instead of panorama images that were affecting on mod file size significantly.
The change has reduced mod file size from almost 20MB to 5MB!
In case you want to make main menu look different for you project needs, you can still use panorama feature
Improvements
- RU and UA localizations
- Added hotkey CTRL + F7 to switch VR play mode in case game is stuck in VR while you are on PC
- Added exception for auto-jump - if block has an inventory, no auto-jumping. Later I'll allow addons to modify that exception list
- "Closing eyes" effect when reaching a solid block too close, instead of an instant black display.
- Auto height calibrate on world join
- NonVR players now can spectate VRPlayers in first person with seeing VR hands (also works with replay mods)
- Slightly improved spectator gamemode in VR
- Added Visibility option for Movement State overlay
- Added support for item dragging in inventory with Right mouse (when one item is taken from the stack)
- Minor improvements and fixes for presets
- Added default preset alternative with HUD elements attached to hands
Linux support
This version should work with SteamVR on Linux, but we haven't tested it well enough yet, please let us know in case of issues
Mods compatibility
Added support for:
- Iris, Oculus
- Distant Horizons
- Replay/Flashback
Additionally, improved Immersive portals compatibility
Fixes
- Fixed gimbal lock issue messing up overlays rotation with sliders
- Fixed trident haptic pulse when any VR player uses it on multiplayer
- Fixed consuming item sometimes wasn't correctly working in main hand
- Fixed forge render pipeline, that caused the items and hands render with inconsistency between eyes, making weird and uncomfortable feeling
- Fixed player model in inventory GUI leaves bounds and overlaps with item slots when swimming/fall-flying
- Fixed inconsistency of OtherVRPlayer model height on multiplayer
-- And more!
