This version of VillagerGPT introduces compatibility with Paper API 26.2 and the following new features:
- You can specify a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint to use instead of the official OpenAI API. This allows you to use a model from any provider of your choice, such as OpenRouter or a local model. This is configured as
openai-base-urlinconfig.yml. - Reasoning effort can be configured as
openai-reasoning-effortfor models which support it. - Villager personalities can be configured in
config.yml. - Villagers can choose to end the conversation themselves.
