iammojogo's Village Life Plus

VillageLife Plus is a Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 mod that enhances village life with smarter Iron Golems and improved villager behavior.

CURRENTLY UPDATING:: - Structural AI development. A full-on structural creation system utilizing the nitwits as builders in villages since they dont have jobs :P. This will include 280 structures by the end of this added module! 01/12/2026

Golem AI:

• Custom Iron Golem AI with intelligent pathfinding
• Golems actively patrol and protect village boundaries
• Villagers call for help when attacked - golems respond!
• Golems prioritize threats and defend villagers from hostile mobs
• Improved village boundary awareness

👥 Villager Improvements

• Personal Space - Villagers no longer stack and bunch up in corners
• Fence Gate Navigation - Villagers can open and close fence gates
• Pressure Plate Avoidance - Villagers won't trigger your traps (configurable)

🏘️ Village Sustainability

• Auto-Repopulation - When population drops below 2, a new villager spawns nearby
• Emergency Mode - New Villager spawn when village hits 0 villagers (prevents village deletion)
• Works Everywhere - Vanilla villages, mod villages, and player-created villages

⚙️ Configuration - Currently Dev Mode Only

• In-game config GUI (no restart required)
• DEV_MODE for debug visualizations
• Toggleable features

Planned Features

• Early shelter seeking (before sunset)
• Attack alerts for players
• Villager name tags showing profession
• Villager torch placement in dark areas
• Structural AI development

🔧 COMPATIBILITY

Works with JEI, JourneyMap, Xaero's Minimap, Optifine, and most client-side mods.

Forge 14.23.5.2859+
Client-side only (no server installation needed)
