Licensing Notice and Transition Statement

This project was previously licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only (AGPL-3.0-only).

As of January 3rd 2026, the project has been relicensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only (LGPL-3.0-only).

What this means:

• The project itself remains free and open source.
• Modifications to this project must still be released under LGPL-3.0-only.
• Other projects (including proprietary or closed-source projects) may link to, depend on, or interoperate with this project without being required to adopt the LGPL, provided they do not modify this project's source code.
• The AGPL network-use clause no longer applies.

This change is intended to improve compatibility with the Minecraft mod ecosystem, including modpacks, servers, and third-party integrations.

All versions released prior to January 3rd 2026 remain licensed under AGPL-3.0-only. All versions released on or after January 3rd 2026 are licensed under LGPL-3.0-only.
