Unidentified Items

Turn ordinary loot into mysterious Unidentified Items—then reveal their true form with Identify Scrolls.

What it does

• Unidentified loot: Items from loot tables can drop in an unidentified state.
• Identify Scrolls: Use a scroll on an unidentified item (drag & drop in inventory) to restore its original tier and name.
• Fully configurable: Choose exactly which items (or tags) can roll as unidentified, and set the chance.

Configuration

Edit the mod’s JSON config to:

• enable/disable the feature
• set the unidentified chance
• list specific item IDs or tags that are eligible

Getting Identify Scrolls

The Identify Scroll does not ship with a recipe or loot table yet—add your own recipe/loot table/datapack to distribute it in your pack.
