Trials Of Azurenth

Discover the lost legend of Azurenth, the Storm King who forged the Trial Chambers to test the bravest warriors. Explore his copper halls to uncover ancient books and claim the thunderous weapons he left behind.

Trials Of Azurenth is a performance-friendly datapack that adds more lore to the trial chambers. It adds a new mythical mace to the game with special enchantments, books with lore in it and a new item that is capable of summoning thunder.

Items

Azurenth's Mace

Forged in the silence of the deep, awakened only by the sky's fury, it sleeps until the thunder calls, bearing the eternal weight of the Storm King's final vow.

Abilities:

• Has the following enchantments:
  • Looting III (which is normally not compatible with a mace)
  • Density V
  • Wind Burst IV
• Summons lightning* 1 second after impact (*this lightning is made with particles and sounds, due to the fact that real lightning doesn't have much configuration)
• Applies slowness III for 1 second on impact

Obtaining:

• Drops from ominous vaults
• Can only be obtained when the sky roars with thunder
• Drop chance when thundering: 3,75%

Azureth's Roar

A hollowed copper horn that echoes with Azurenth's first cry, and when blown, the skies darken to answer the King's command.

Abilities:

• Right-click to summon a thunderstorm
• One-time use

Obtaining:

• 10% from an ominous vault

Installation

Client (singleplayer)

1. Download the datapack for your version.
2. Download the resource pack for your version (you can find this when clicking on the version in the version tab).
3. Place the datapack in your %appdata%/.minecraft/saves/[your_world]/datapacks folder.
4. Place the resource pack in %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks.

Server (Multiplayer)

1. Download the datapack for your version.
2. Download the resource pack for your version (you can find this when clicking on the version in the version tab).
3. Place the datapack in the ~/world/datapacks folder of your server.
4. Add the resoure pack to your server

Future plans

• Adding Azurenth as a boss, with his own structure.
• A custom trial chamber room for Azurenth's helper Halach, with his own bossfight. (WIP)
• More additions to the trial chambers.

This is the first ever datapack I've ever made, so it wouldn't suprise me if there are small bugs (I bugtested it well, but you never know).
