Totem Announcer
A lightweight Forge 1.20.1 mod that announces in the global chat when a player consumes a Totem of Undying. Designed for maximum compatibility.
Totem Announcer is a simple and efficient mod for Forge 1.20.1. Its sole function is to send a prominent message to the global server chat whenever a player is saved from death by using a Totem of Undying. The message format is straightforward: "[Player] has consumed a totem!".

High Compatibility: Unlike other similar mods that rely on damage or death events, Totem Announcer uses Minecraft's internal statistics system to detect item usage. This ensures the mod does not interfere with or get blocked by other mods.
Alternative Inventory Support: Works perfectly if the totem is activated from a backpack (like Sophisticated Backpacks) or accessory slots (Curios).
Totem Overhaul Support: Tested and fully functional alongside mods that drastically alter totem mechanics, such as Better Totem of Undying.
